About the Role
DRUBC is a leading Irish import, export, and distribution company with a strong presence across global markets. We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team in a pivotal role that bridges the gap between business strategy and technology delivery.
As a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, you will ensure that technology solutions align with DRUBC’s strategic goals — driving efficiency across our supply chain, reporting systems, and day-to-day operations.
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for technological improvement and optimisation.
- Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements from key stakeholders across DRUBC.
- Lead and manage IT initiatives focused on enhancing supply chain operations, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.
- Translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications for development and implementation teams.
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the testing, deployment, and adoption of new technology solutions across the organisation.
- Contribute to DRUBC’s long-term technological growth strategy and advancement in international markets.

Requirements & Qualifications
- A relevant degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a comparable analytical role.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT project delivery, from requirements gathering through to implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — written and verbal — with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working within supply chain, logistics, distribution, or a related sector is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Terms & Employment Conditions
- Contract Type: 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract
- Annual Salary: €41,500
- Annual Leave: A minimum of 4 weeks paid annual leave after 12 months of service, in accordance with Irish employment law.
- Notice Period: In line with the statutory minimum, determined by length of service, as per Irish employment legislation.
